When you initially contact our office, your call will be answered personally and promptly. I offer a brief free initial phone consultation to understand your first concerns and needs in order to guide you in setting up the initial consultation. During the first appointments I will focus on performing a comprehensive evaluation. I spend time getting to know you, your family, and your social environment. The goals of this initial evaluation phase are to get to know you and understand the process that has led to your current challenges. Once I have a better understanding of these difficulties, I will develop a plan for the best treatment course. Together we will formulate this treatment plan to address your specific needs and goals. Treatment modalities vary depending on your specific situation and needs. I provide different treatment modalities which include psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy alone or in combination with medication management when needed. Depending on each case, medication may be an important part of the treatment, and at times not needed at all. I provide compassionate, skilled psychotherapy in a secure and protected environment. I see my role as helping you to discover the innate strength, self-acceptance, and passion to transform your life.
